The fusion of functionality and aesthetically pleasing design, the Interchange cPAD3 building is a 108,000 SF multi-use concrete warehouse facility. The structural shell is constructed with 35′ tall tilt-up concrete wall panels based on concrete foundations and a slab-on-grade concrete floor system. The roof structure combines steel columns and joists with metal decking and an EPMD fully adhered roof. Other building features include storefront entrances, 16 over-head doors and dock levelers. The building’s L-shaped tilt accent panels along with its striking red, black and gray color scheme makes cPAD3 highly visible to travelers on one of Virginia’s busiest interstates.

The building provides for office space in the front of the building and loading dock areas at the rear. The design of the building will allow for multiple tenants under one roof. Site work included excavation, utilities, paving, site electric and site concrete.

cPAD3 represents NIelsen’s 5th tilt-up warehouse for Interchange and the 4th building on the campus. Nielsen’s design-build approach to tilt-up construction has given Interchange the benefits of fast-track design and construction in a cost efficient delivery system. Interchange PResident, Devon ANders says that CPAD3 “is the most attractive tilt-up facility we have constructed to date.”

We are proud of what we do!
